On November 4, 2023, the 2nd IEEE International Conference on Cloud Computing, Big Data Applications and Software Engineering (CBASE2023) was successfully concluded in Chengdu, China. The conference was hosted by Sichuan Normal University, co-organized by Southwest Jiaotong University, Southwest University for Nationalities and Shandong University, and hosted by School of Computer Science, Sichuan Normal University and AEIC Academic Exchange Center.

The opening session of the conference was delivered by Mr. He Yiran, Vice President of Sichuan Normal University, and Professor Li Xianxian, Vice President of Guangxi Normal University and Vice Dean of School of Computer Science, Professor Huang Deshuang (IEEE Fellow) of Ningbo Institute of Advanced Research of Oriental Technology, Professor Peng Jian of Sichuan University, Prof. Witold Pedrycz, University of Alberta, Canada; Prof. Gong Xin, Vice Dean of the School of Computer and Artificial Intelligence, Southwest Jiaotong University; Prof. Liu Tao, Vice Dean of the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Southwest University for Nationalities, served as the guests of the conference, and made wonderful keynote presentations on topics such as "Big Data, Intelligent Computing, Medical Application data, Software Engineering".

CBASE 2023 attracted more than 140 scholars from more than 60 universities from more than 10 countries to participate online or offline, and a total of more than 40 participants gave oral presentations or poster demonstrations. After the selection of experts from the organizing committee of the conference, a total of 25 scholars won the honorary certificates of the best paper, excellent paper, excellent poster and excellent oral report issued by the conference.
